NCCMDS
NCCMDS (Nigerian Conference of Christian Medical Students) are a unique breed of medics, a new specie of Christian medical students who are not only being trained in their medical schools to handle and treat the diseases of the souls and bodies of men but are also being trained by the Great Physician, Jesus, to handle and treat the infirmities of the spirit of man.
We are a new breed of students who are learning to practice holistic medicine - bringing wholeness to the lives of men; wholeness to their spirit, souls and bodies.
We believe in caring for the body, the soul, as well as the spirit of man. In this world of ours, care is becoming scarce. Care in our hospitals ought to go beyond caring for the medical needs of the patients; it may involve sitting with the patient and listening to his/her ordeals, counseling with and praying for the patient as well as sharing the gospel with him.
We are called to care for the whole Man!
NCCMDS will have its nationla conference on the 10th of December 2008 at JUTH (Jos University Teaching Hospital), endeavour to attend.
